Assalamu alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,

 

The Election Committee has concluded its election procedure for the upcoming MFIC 2020 Board Election and the current Board has endorsed our findings.

 

The Election Committee received formal nomination acceptance forms from the following candidates:

 

1. Shoukat Khan

2. Shabir Choudry

3. Shafiq Mian

4. Mohammad Saeed

5. Abdul S Sheikh

6. Nasim Khan

 

​The Election Committee verified and validated the eligibility of the nominees based on MFIC Constitution.

 

In accordance to Article VII, Section 2, "Composition" of the MFIC Constitution: "The Board shall consist of six (6) elected voted members who have been duly elected by the voting members of Masjid Fresno."

 

Since only 6 candidates we received for the upcoming 2020 Board Election, which meet the minimum requirement by the Constitution, therefore by default, these candidates will be assuming Board duties in accordance with the MFIC Constitution.
